• I have been blessed with talents that are a natural outgrowth of my love of nature and all that surrounds us. I was born from humble beginnings and raised in a loving home by two wonderful parents. My father and my mother raised their family on a working farm in Southern Maryland less than a mile from where I live now. We all had to help with the chores and it was truly what most would imagine. Growing up in rural Southern Maryland provided me my first exposure to the glorious Chesapeake Bay, magnificent marsh and river birds, and majestic deer that roam the woods and tobacco farms within the richly endowed region. My friends and I entertained ourselves by hunting, fishing, crabbing and exploring. It was through this play that I began my interest, love, and respect for the flora and fauna of the region. As I began to travel the United States as a bluegrass and country musician, I realized that the beauty I experienced as a child went far beyond my little corner of the world.

Bluegrass and Country

My love of expression through bluegrass and country music has afforded me the ability to travel through this beautiful country and provided me a bounty of subject matter. My photography is simply a way to capture those special moments so that I may share with others.
