Maybury Mill

PHOTOGRAPH

This is truly one of my favorite subjects to photograph. It's on the Blue Ridge Parkway, a few miles out of a little sleepy town called Floyd. It's in SW VA. This is the most photographed item on the entire parkway, from top to bottom. I go here for all four seasons. It's also a working mill, operating on weekends during the summer and fall months.
